from the USAKA Commander at least 24 hours in advance.
Bucholz AAF will support up to and including C5A military aircraft. A fully operational
FAA tower, a TACAN instrument approach and an ADF/DME approach support transient aircraft
in and out of the airfield. Aircraft flying into and out of Bucholz AAF will operate in
Class D airspace during the hours of 1730-0930Z (UTC+12). Crash and Fire Rescue assets are
available 24 hours per day.

Direct flights into Dyess AAF are not authorized. Electro-magnetic
radiation exists 24 hours daily within a 10 nautical mile radius of the airfield and from
the surface to 50,000 feet. Pilots should consult the FLIP Planning AP/3, Oakland FIR, and
Flight Hazard prior to transiting this area. Over-flights of Dyess AAF are not authorized.
Dyess AAF will support up to and including C130 military aircraft. Bucholz Tower
controls landings and take-offs. Dyess Fire Department provides an advisory information
service only. Aircraft flying into and out of Dyess AAF will operate in Class D airspace
during the hours of 1730-0930Z (UTC+12). Crash and Fire Rescue assets are available 24
hours per day.
